What is the best AION 2 Cleric build overall?
Every AION 2 Cleric build comes from the same pool of stigmas, Daevanion points and stats — what changes is the order you prioritize them. For most players the PvE Healer build is the strongest default: AION 2’s group content is balanced around having a dedicated healer, and the Cleric is that healer. If you play mostly solo or want faster farming, the Battle Cleric (DPS) build kills dramatically faster while keeping emergency healing. For open-world and organized PvP, the Group PvP Support build trades some throughput for survivability and cleansing.
| Build | Core stigmas | Best for | Key Daevanion skills |
|---|---|---|---|
| PvE Healer | Light of Protection, Absolution, Yustiel’s Power, Benevolence | Dungeons, raids, group PvE | Healing Light, Radiant Recovery, Light of Regenerator |
| Battle Cleric (DPS) | Light of Protection, Earth Punishment, Noble Aura, Prayer of Amplification | Solo grinding, fast dungeons | Condemnation, Chain of Torment, Earth’s Retribution |
| PvP Support | Light of Protection, Absolution, Yustiel’s Power, Salvation | Open world, ranked and group PvP | Healing Light, Salvation, Debilitating Mark |
All three builds share Light of Protection as a backbone stigma — it is simply too efficient to drop unless you group with a Chanter (see the synergy section below). Stigmas unlock around level 22, and each stigma has upgrade milestones at levels 5, 10, 12, 15 and 20 that change how it plays. For how every class compares beyond the Cleric, see our AION 2 tier list and the full class overview.
Which stigmas should a PvE Cleric use?
Run Light of Protection, Absolution, Yustiel’s Power and Benevolence. This AION 2 Cleric build combination maximizes sustained recovery, debuff cleansing and burst-phase mitigation, which is exactly what hard dungeon mechanics demand. Upgrade Absolution first, then Yustiel’s Power, then Benevolence.
| Stigma | Lv 5 milestone | Lv 10 milestone | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Absolution | Lower cooldown | Expanded cleanse range | Your group’s debuff answer |
| Yustiel’s Power | Adds a damage shield | Stronger shield values | Pre-cast before boss burst phases |
| Benevolence | Increased healing | Raid-wide efficiency | Swappable with Salvation or Summon Resurrection |
| Light of Protection | Baseline mitigation | — | Drops only when a Chanter covers it |
The upgrade order matters more than the pick itself: an Absolution stuck at level 3 feels noticeably worse than one at level 5, because the cleanse cooldown is what saves runs when a boss applies overlapping debuffs.
How does the Battle Cleric (DPS) build work?
The Battle Cleric build turns your damage kit into a self-sustaining engine. Earth Punishment’s level 5 specialization guarantees critical hits for Condemnation, and Condemnation’s level 12 specialization resets its own cooldown on crit — together they create the “infinite reset loop” that defines solo Cleric grinding.
The burst priority looks like this:
- Pre-cast Noble Aura
- Place Divine Aura
- Pop Prayer of Amplification
- Loop Condemnation on cooldown
- Fill with Earth’s Retribution; use Bolt and Lightning Strike during stagger windows
While leveling, this build is also the answer to a system many new healers miss: dungeon rewards in AION 2 scale with your damage contribution. A Cleric who only heals earns noticeably worse rewards than one who weaves damage between healing casts, so even group players should keep Earth Punishment leveled.
What is the best Cleric build for PvP?
Use Light of Protection, Absolution, Yustiel’s Power and Salvation for group PvP. Salvation is the star: its level 15 milestone extends the invulnerability bubble to the lowest-HP ally, and level 20 lets you cast while affected by Impact crowd control — both are game-changing in organized fights.
Positioning and utility matter as much as the loadout:
- Hold Defiance to break hard crowd control (Airborne, Stun, Knockdown, Fear)
- Peel divers off your backline with Debilitating Mark and Chain of Torment
- Pre-cast Yustiel’s Power before predictable burst windows, same as PvE
- Keep Absolution’s cleanse ready for silence and heal-block debuffs
What stats should a Cleric prioritize?
Stat priority is where an AION 2 Cleric build quietly succeeds or fails. Because the Healing Enhancement passive converts Attack into Heal Boost, Attack is never a wasted stat for a Cleric — it scales your healing and your damage. Stat priority per build:
| Build | Priority 1 | Priority 2 | Priority 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
| PvE Healer | Heal Boost / Attack | Max MP | Cast speed |
| Battle Cleric (DPS) | Attack | Crit | Attack speed |
| PvP Support | Max HP | Status Resistance | Attack |
Practically: while leveling, take any gear with Attack and HP. At endgame, healer pieces should lean Heal Boost with enough Attack to keep your damage respectable, since contribution-based rewards still apply.
What gear should a Cleric use?
Gear with Attack, Heal Boost, Max HP and MP covers every AION 2 Cleric build; the exact best-in-slot list is still settling because the global release only launched on October 5, 2026. Use this checklist while the endgame meta develops:
- Weapon: highest Attack value available — it feeds both healing and damage through Healing Enhancement
- Armor: HP-heavy sets for PvP, balanced sets with MP sustain for long dungeon pulls
- Accessories: Attack first, then your build’s second stat (Crit for DPS, Status Resistance for PvP)
- Consumables: always carry MP recovery — a dry Cleric is a dead party
We will update specific named gear recommendations as endgame data from the global client stabilizes. Skill and stigma choices above are verified against Korean-server data and early global guides; exact numbers may shift with patches.
How do Daevanion boards change your Cleric build?
Daevanion boards are where your build actually takes shape — the board covers 22 Cleric skills (12 active, 10 passive) and each can gain up to +4 levels from your board points. For healing builds, prioritize Healing Light and Radiant Recovery first, then Light of Regenerator. For the DPS loop, Condemnation comes before everything, followed by Chain of Torment and Earth’s Retribution.
Early on, community consensus is to invest in passive nodes first: the flat stat gains carry both builds while you decide your route. See our dedicated Daevanion board guide (coming with the next content update) for a node-by-node path.
How does Cleric and Chanter synergy work?
Light of Protection does not stack with a Chanter’s Undefeated Mantra — if you regularly run with an equal or higher-rank Chanter, drop Light of Protection for an archetype-specific stigma. The two classes otherwise complement each other well: the Chanter buffs and amplifies the party while the Cleric keeps it alive, and hard content generally wants both.
